Cutting the Front

Prepare the shirt front for attaching the pleated insert by modifying the front pattern and marking the corresponding opening on the fabric. This lesson covers tracing and cutting away the pleated area, adding generous seam allowances at the inner and lower edges, cutting the opening accurately, and transferring the seam lines to both sides of the shirt front.
